But I dont find anything for switching between panes after creation without mouse clicking in command palette. If I use ctrl+shift+p, I can see some shortcut for creating panes in Windows Terminal, for example alt+shift+-is for creating horizontal pane and alt+shift+plus is for creating vertical panes. In a script executed after the machine has started, I have these commands: xcape -e 'Control_L=Escape' iTerm 2 lets you change the window sizes in profile, which means that you can set a profile to have 80 cols and however many rows you want and it should create. FWIW, on linux I'm using xmodmap and xcape to use the Enter key as the control modifier key when it's hold, and Enter when it's pressed.
